New SID series in Maastricht

In cooperation with Maastricht University (www.unimaas.nl), the European Centre for Development Policy Management (ECDPM, www.ecdpm.org) and Europe-open (www.europe-open.info), SID started in December a debating series in Maastricht. The focus of the Maastricht Debates will be on issues of international cooperation and globalisation, an area of expertise of a large number of Maastricht-based institutes and linked with the content of the Maastricht Treaty as signed by the European leaders in 1992. The 2006-2007 series focuses on ‘governance’ as the overarching theme.
